Amount of Sun and Shade: South facing has direct sun. Lots of high trees providing shade for understory plants. Morning sun hits areas that become shaded as the day progresses.
Unique Features and Animals: Largest Magnolia tree ever in the back yard! Many birds and pollinators, snakes, raccoons, rabbits, gopher tortoise, armadillo, bobcat. Landscape Description: Striving for Native Forest.
Challenges: Initially there was extreme overgrowth of invasive plants, Entire yard was stripped and replaced with native plants.
