Unique Features and Animals: Property is on the Indian River Lagoon and an excellent example of mixed native landscaping. Wildlife consists of aquatic birds, song birds, pollinators, butterflies, snakes, turtles, furry friends and more.

Birders have opportunities to see waders and shorebirds feeding along the shoreline. Least Terns and Black Skimmers are possible. Check the hardwoods for woodpeckers and migrant passerines. Winter brings Savannah and Chipping Sparrows, plus flocks of Tree Swallows. A small sheltered bay harbors wintering ducks such as Lesser Scaup, American Wigeon and Northern Pintail, as well as Common Loons and Horned Grebes.

Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins (and occasionally West Indian Manatees) may be spotted from the pier.

Parking Restrictions: Parking along the shoulders of the entrance is acceptable if necessary. If you have pre-ordered plants, they will be at a ‘drive-through’ table by the playground.
